One of our prestigious clients, a global leader in the textile and garment industry, is looking for an experienced Operations Managers to lead their Sri Lanka operations. This strategic role will oversee the setup and management of a sourcing office while driving growth, compliance, and operational efficiency.

SALARY: LKR 400,000-500,000

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all core business functions, including Finance, Operations, Customer Service, Logistics, and HR.
• Establish and manage a sourcing office for raw material and finished goods procurement.
• Lead, develop, and motivate a diverse team to ensure excellent performance and a positive work environment.
• Formulate and execute strategies to drive revenue and customer experience.
• Foster and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to support informed business decisions.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all functions.
• Handle business license applications as per the company’s strategic direction.
• Encourage daily innovation and continuous improvement.
• Take on ad hoc strategic and operational projects assigned by the management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior management role within an MNC, ideally in the Trims/Textile/Garment industry.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and business discussion skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/Navision and Microsoft Office tools.
• Sound knowledge of budgeting and financial operations.
• Open-minded and experienced in working with international teams and clientele.
• Proven ability to foster a high-performing, inclusive team culture.
• Immediate availability is preferred but not mandatory.

PERFORMANCE METRICS:

• Success will be measured by financial performance, operational efficiency improvements, and enhanced customer satisfaction.

REPORTING STRUCTURE:

• Reports directly to the Group Head of Production and Global Sourcing Director.
