One of our prestigious clients, a leading global organization in the textile and garment sector, is looking for a Finance Managers to join their growing team in Sri Lanka. The selected candidate will oversee all aspects of financial operations and provide strategic financial direction aligned with corporate goals.

SALARY: LKR 300,000

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage daily accounting operations: accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and maintain optimal liquidity.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning, and rolling forecasts.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and stakeholders.
• Implement strong internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Handle payroll, expense claims, and other financial transactions.
• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance.
• Coordinate with global finance teams on transfer pricing and tax treaties.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting/Finance.
• Fully qualified CA (Chartered Accountant).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance/accounting (2+ years in a supervisory role).
• Experience in MNCs, preferably in the Trims/Textile/Garment sector.
• Solid knowledge of Sri Lankan tax laws and financial regulations.
• Expertise in intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, DTAS, CIT, and WHT.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Excel/MS Office skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Accountant role.

PERFORMANCE METRICS:

• Success will be measured through report accuracy, regulatory compliance, and the value of financial insights provided to support business goals.

REPORTING STRUCTURE:

• Reports directly to the General Manager – Sri Lanka and Group CFO.
