Manpower Sri Lanka is looking for an experienced Channel Development Manager (CDM) for a leading organization operating in the FMCG and Office Stationery / Office Supplies industries, based in Colombo.

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with strong national sales and distribution experience, particularly in General Trade, Traditional Trade, and dealer network management. Candidates with experience in either the FMCG industry or the Office Stationery / Office Supplies industry are encouraged to apply.

SALARY: LKR 800,000 per month

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement national channel development strategies to achieve business growth and sales targets.
• Manage and strengthen distribution networks across the country.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and channel partners.
• Drive sales growth through General Trade and Traditional Trade channels.
• Identify opportunities to expand market coverage and improve distribution efficiency.
• Develop and manage dealer networks to strengthen market presence.
• Monitor national sales performance, distribution coverage, and market trends.
• Identify new business opportunities and improve channel productivity.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to achieve business objectives.
• Analyze sales data and prepare regular performance reports for management.
• Develop strategies to improve market penetration and overall channel performance.
• Monitor competitor activities and recommend appropriate business strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in National Sales, Channel Development, or Distribution Management.
• Experience in either the FMCG industry or Office Stationery / Office Supplies industry.
• Strong national sales and distribution management experience.
• Proven experience in General Trade and Traditional Trade channels.
• Strong dealer network management experience.
• Good knowledge of the Colombo market.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic planning abilities.
• Ability to develop and execute sales and distribution strategies.
• Relevant qualifications in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, or a related field will be an advantage.
