One of our prestigious clients based in Australia, a leading IT solutions provider specializing in managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud, and IT support, is looking for an experienced Senior Finance, Procurement & Accounts Officers to join their team in Colombo, Sri Lanka.


SALARY: Negotiable (Based on experience and qualifications)


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage financial records in Xero including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Raise customer invoices, manage receivables, and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Track and reconcile supplier bills, reimbursements, and credit card transactions.
  • Prepare and review monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
  • Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial audits.
  • Coordinate BAS, PAYG, and superannuation reporting with external accountants.
  • Handle procurement of IT hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Communicate with suppliers for availability, pricing, and lead times.
  • Maintain pricing records, product catalogs, and warranty documentation.
  • Manage customer service agreements, renewals, and licensing contracts.
  • Maintain CRM and finance system accuracy and ensure SOP compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in finance, bookkeeping, or accounting.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Xero and Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with IT procurement, vendor management, and licensing.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with HaloPSA, Zoho CRM, or similar PSA tools is a plus.
  • Experience working with remote-first or global teams is desirable.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Fully remote role based in Sri Lanka.
  • Must work aligned with Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT).
  • Stable internet, computer system, and quiet home workspace required.
  • Regular video calls with Australian team.
