One of our prestigious clients is looking for a "Finance Managers" to join their team in Sri Lanka.
# SALARY: LKR 400,000 - 600,000 (negotiable based on qualifications)
# REQUIREMENTS
- Education: University graduate with a degree in Accounting or other related finance courses.
- Certification: Chartered Accountant.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of finance-related working experience, with managerial capacity, ideally gained from pharmaceutical companies.
- Technical Skills: Experience managing IT tools such as accounting systems (experience with Tally system is an advantage), and knowledge of local financial mandates and government rulings.
- Skills: Strong planning and organizational skills, analytical and dynamic mindset.
# JOB DESCRIPTION
- Finance Oversight: Oversee the overall function of finance including accounting, treasury, payroll administration, receivable management, audit, and management reporting.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with statutory requirements such as tax filing and other government regulations.
- Coordination with Import Agencies: Handle financial matters related to product importation, including documentation and fees.
- Process Initiatives: Participate in process initiatives related to system changes or new reporting requirements initiated by management.
- Other Responsibilities: Attend to financial, treasury, accounting, and audit-related matters, including checking payroll and payroll taxes.
