One of our prestigious clients in Qatar is looking for an experienced Lead - HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) to join their team immediately.

SALARY: Negotiable


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and oversee the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies across all project activities.

  • Supervise and guide the HSE team to ensure compliance with company and client safety standards.

  • Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and international HSE standards.

  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Develop and deliver HSE training programs, toolbox talks, and safety awareness initiatives.

  • Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.

  • Prepare and review HSE reports, statistics, and performance indicators for management.

  • Coordinate emergency response plans, drills, and crisis management activities.

  • Promote and maintain a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification is preferred.

  • Proven experience in a Lead HSE or Senior HSE role within construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, or industrial projects.

  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, risk management, and international safety standards.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HSE reporting systems.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
