One of our prestigious clients who is a leading "Private Hospital" in Uganda is looking for an experienced "IT Technician" to join them immediately.
SALARY: USD 750 - 900 (Avg. LKR. 270,000 - 325,000)
IT Technician to provide technical support towards successful implementation. maintenance, troubleshooting, and ultimately providing the best solution for all IT-related requirements at the hospital day to day operations. Plan and coordinate IT-related equipment installations, moves, additions, changes, and system enhancements to improve reliability/performance. Enter commands and activate controls on computer and peripheral equipment. Resolve non-routine problems with hardware, software, or patient rooms/ward's internet (WIFI) accesses. Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements. Maintain inventory of technology devices.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide hardware, network, and software-related support.
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair computer systems including printers and scanners etc.
- Support ICT network and infrastructure.
- Support internet & e-mails, client services, and exchange.
- Prevent malware and security threats in IT systems.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
- HND or Degree in Information Technology or related fields.
- Minim of 2 years of experience in the same field.
- Microsoft certifications
- Work experience at a reputed Hospital will be an added advantage.
