Our client, a leading "IT Services & Solutions" company is looking for an experienced "Principal Architect" to join their team in Colombo immediately.

SALARY: Negotiable

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Propose technical solutions and detailed designs for project requirements.
• Manage and coordinate architectural solutions between cross-project platforms.
• Conduct software architecture review sessions for project development activities.
• Identify technical risks and mitigate them accordingly.
• Implement and govern CI/CD mechanisms.
• Overlook and propose quality gate verification procedures to ensure smooth delivery.
• Resource recruitment, appraisals, training & mentoring activities.
• Stakeholder management.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field or equivalent qualification with 18+ years of experience.
• At least 15+ years of experience in Software Engineering.

• Broad knowledge of different technologies, technical stacks, and persistence methodologies.
• Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure and its techniques.
• Strong Technical and Business stakeholder management.
• Good understanding of the following:
  • Test automation and its procedures.
  • Performance engineering and capacity planning.
  • Non-functional requirements to provide cross-cutting solutions.
  • Scrum and Agile practices.
