Our client, a leading "IT Services & Solutions" company is looking for an experienced "Cyber Incident Management Lead" to join their team in Colombo immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Information Security, Engineering, Computers Science, etc. (or equivalent professional experience)
- 8+ years experience combined cyber incident management and related info security field. (i.e. SOC analyst, L2, vulnerability management)
- Certification such as GCIH, CISSP, ECIH, etc is preferred.
- Experience developing prioritized intelligence requirements and operationalizing them.
- Experience guiding and coaching others in the subject matter.
- Experience monitoring and maintenance of records to enable quick response to alerts, incidents, problems, and changes.
- Good understanding of cyber incident management standards, methods, tools, and best practices. (baselines, standards &, etc.)
- Understanding of attacker mindset, exploitation, and how vulnerabilities are leveraged
- Familiar with differences and purposes for operational, tactical, and strategic intelligence deliverables.
- Familiar with incident management life cycle standards.
- Demonstrated ability to stay abreast securing evolving technology such as cloud and mobile computing.
- Drive to learn new things about technical cybersecurity topics. (threats, exploits, hacker techniques, and overall security ops)
- Excel at prioritizing work and other demands for self and team including making risk-based decisions about remediation recommendations.
- Good judgment is demonstrated in situations where balancing conflicting demands and taking pragmatic decisions is important.
- Foster very strong technical skills with particular emphasis on IT and Telco Security which includes but is not limited to security attacks and prevention, protection concepts and technologies, and security governance.
- Ability to communicate threat intelligence principles, policies, rationale, and standards.
- Ability to define, communicate, and execute on a vision and strategy.
- Effective time-management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical users.
- Team player, leader with the ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
