Our client who is one of the largest multinational manufacturers & distributors of "Industrial Measuring Instruments" is looking for an experienced "Assistant Sales Manager" to join their team in Sri Lanka immediately!


SALARY: Negotiable


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Manage all sales & marketing activities to create profitable growth for the Company, while at the same time providing value add to customers, key brand owners, and principals.

  • Generate business from MRO and OEM in Sri Lanka.
  • Ensure overall organizational sales objectives and targets are met.
  • Analyzing competitor activities, exploring market needs and opportunities.
  • Creating brand awareness and business development.
  • Be responsible for sales targets and KPI’s.
  • Monitoring market trends, fluctuations and ensuring proper sales strategies are implemented.
  • Increasing the local market share of the product by identifying market opportunities and converting them into profitable business relationship.
  • Carrying out frequent customer visits and ensuring customer needs are met.
  • Influencing customers to purchase our range of Industrial Measuring Instruments.
  • Participating in product trials.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:


  • Age between 30 - 45 (Male)
  • B.E. Degree in Instrumentation / Electrical.
  • Qualification in sales & marketing would be a definite advantage.
  • At least 6 - 7 years of experience, specializing in Instrumentation / Electrical product sales.
  • Should have worked with Rockwell Automation - Siemens, E&H, ABB Honeywell, General Instruments, Baumer, Forbes Marshall.
  • Market Knowledge of Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Pharma & HVAC, Industrial Machines.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
  • Strong financial awareness, commercial skills, and familiarity with industry standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with prior experience managing a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Very well-developed negotiation skills.
  • Ambitious, energetic, target-driven, initiative-taker, and highly motivated.
  • Effective people manager, communicator, and team-oriented individual.
  • Self-starter with drive and the ability to work autonomously, planning their own work and time effectively.
