Our client is a leading "Software Development" company is looking for an experienced "Senior QA Lead" to join their Colombo team immediately.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly supervises all Quality Assurance Team members, including the preparation and delivery of performance evaluations and career development activities.
- Manages department and overall expectations pertaining to setting accurate schedules, costs, and resources.
- Ensures delivery against QA department goals and objectives, i.e. meeting commitments and coordinating overall quality assurance schedule.
- Hiring Quality Engineers, onboard and allocation to projects.
- Maintains product consistency throughout the product cycle, including the design, define and build phases through quality checkpoints and testing.
- Develop and manage quality assurance metrics and ensure quality.
- Implements ongoing quality improvement processes working with interdepartmental teams.
- Provides effective communication regarding issues, objectives, initiatives, and performance to plan.
- Directs Quality Analysts in understanding conceptual and functional requirements for new and enhanced application systems and products.
- Manages and responds to Software Quality Assurance issues with related groups such as Development and Consulting.
- ABility in taking corrective action, escalating when needed, to resolve and achieve commitment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technical Communication, or Business preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of Software QA experience, to include a minimum of 3 years in a lead or management position.
- Technical experience in Web and Mobile app testing, Jira, Zephyr, JavaScript, SQL Server, Selenium, Appium or any related test tool, validating REST, SOAP messaging.
- Experience in implementation and administration of Software Quality Assurance metrics, such as defect profiles and performance to entry/exit criteria.
- Great leadership skills in coaching, guiding, and inspiring team confidence and respect.
- Ability to motivate team members in a creative and effective manner.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills are a must.
- Detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good proficiency in English (Written/Spoken).
