# ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Major responsibilities include, generating leads by identifying potential markets.
  • Determine the demand for products and services and track progress on these global prospects to increase market share and profitability.
  • Building awareness of the company by participating in trade shows and industry analyst relations may also be required.
  • Direct all operational aspects including, Distribution Operations, Customer Service, HR, Administration & Sales.
  • Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately.
  • Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
  • Actively presents ideas to expand service offering and enhance positioning of the firm.
  • Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration.
  • Assist in identifying potential global markets to determine the demands for the organization’s products and services.
  • Research industries and markets to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Assist Company in responding to new business opportunities including researching companies and industries, writing proposals, preparing presentations and other new business efforts.
  • Participate in business development presentations and meetings as appropriate.
  • Work with Company principal, and on strategic positioning and planning.
  • Guide Company in branding, positioning and marketing implementation.
  • Write marketing plans including strategic analysis, competition, positioning, and budget.
  • Develop business plans, project plans, forecasts, timelines, financial objectives and priorities critical programs and elements necessary to achieve the sales and marketing objectives on a consistent basis.
  • Will work with all aspects of marketing including market research, product development, sales, and advertising.
  • Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
  • Bring out the best of branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation.
  • Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.
  • Ability to meet goals & metrics.
  • Should be very responsible and organized with the ability to work across organizations effectively.
  • Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
  • Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws.
  • Frequent travel or living abroad will be required.

(Secondary)

  • Hiring of employees as per requirement.
  • Coordinating with Head Office for Appointment Letters, Monthly Salaries, Bills and other expenses.
  • Coordinating with laboratories for quality testing as per the requirement.
  • Coordinating with Shipping Agent / CHA to import material.
  • Liaison with Warehouse, CHA & Government Offices as per the requirement.

# QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES

  • A Degree in Business, Sales & Marketing or any relevant field from a recognized University.
  • 5-7 Years' experience in the relevant field with minimum 2 years' experience within the same industry.
  • Age between 30 - 35 years.
  • Good command of written & spoken, English & Sinhala.
  • Fluency in Tamil language is an added advantage.
