One of our prestigious clients in Qatar is looking for experienced Maintenance Technicians to join their team immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting equipment faults, and ensuring machinery and facilities operate safely and efficiently.

SALARY: Negotiable – Based on experience and qualifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify faults, wear, damage, or potential failures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and equipment-related problems.
• Carry out repairs, adjustments, servicing, and replacement of defective components.
• Follow scheduled maintenance plans and complete assigned maintenance tasks on time.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, schematics, and equipment specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, testing instruments, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and other industrial equipment as required.
• Assist with installation, dismantling, alignment, and commissioning of equipment.
• Record maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment faults.
• Report major defects and maintenance requirements to supervisors.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with company procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain proper housekeeping in workshops, plant areas, and work sites.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel.
• Support emergency maintenance and breakdown repair activities when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical qualification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar position.
• Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and/or electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, machinery, and related equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and testing equipment.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in industrial, workshop, or site environments.
• GCC/Qatar experience will be an added advantage.
• Relevant technical or trade certifications will be an advantage.
