One of our prestigious clients in Fiji is looking for experienced Management Accountants to join their team immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing management accounts, analysing financial performance, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and providing accurate financial information to support business growth within the food manufacturing industry.

SALARY:

LKR 1,400,000 – 1,800,000 per month

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Analyse financial performance, revenue, costs, margins and profitability.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
• Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare variance analysis and provide explanations for significant differences.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor production costs, operating expenses and inventory-related financial information.
• Analyse cost of goods sold, manufacturing costs and gross profit margins.
• Assist with cash flow monitoring and working capital management.
• Prepare financial information and reports for management decision-making.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting schedules.
• Work closely with operational and finance teams to improve financial controls and reporting processes.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies and financial procedures.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement and improved financial performance.
• Perform other finance-related duties assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in management accounting or financial reporting.
• Experience in the food manufacturing industry will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Experience in manufacturing costing, inventory accounting and cost control will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, organised and commercially aware approach.
• Willingness to work in Fiji and adapt to a new working environment.
