One of our prestigious clients is looking for an experienced Junior Solutions Engineer to join their team immediately.

SALARY: AUD 500

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor and manage daily backup operations across Veeam Backup & Replication (VBR) and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Investigate and resolve backup failures, warnings, and restore-related issues.
• Perform VM-level, file-level, mailbox, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams data restores.
• Maintain backup infrastructure, repositories, storage utilization, and backup performance.
• Configure and manage Microsoft 365 backup jobs, permissions, and backup scopes.
• Support disaster recovery testing, incident response, and backup recovery operations.
• Implement backup-related changes, patch deployments, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Monitor backup platform security, compliance, and ransomware protection measures.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication (VBR) and Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365.
• Good understanding of backup architectures, data protection, immutability, and ransomware protection.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 workloads including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle technical support escalations.
