One of our prestigious local clients in Colombo, a leading financial institution, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy General Managers (Transformation and HR Strategy) to lead the Human Resources transformation and contribute to strategic growth.


SALARY: Attractive remuneration package (Based on experience and qualifications)


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute HR transformation strategies aligned with the bank’s strategic plan.
  • Introduce best practices in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee retention.
  • Lead digital HR initiatives and secure stakeholder buy-in for transformation projects.
  • Implement succession planning and leadership development for key HR positions.
  • Drive organizational change through effective change management strategies.
  • Leverage HR analytics to support data-driven decision making.
  • Review and redesign existing HR policies and systems to support organizational objectives.
  • Oversee talent management and career path planning for all employee levels.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture across the organization.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Educational Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in HR from a UGC-recognized university AND
      Master's Degree from a UGC-recognized* university OR full professional qualification in HR
      OR
    • Bachelor’s Degree from a UGC-recognized university AND
      Master’s Degree in HR or full professional qualification in HR
  • Work Experience:

    • Minimum 10 years of proven HR experience in the corporate sector.
    • At least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role (CHRO/Head of HR/HR Transformation Officer).
    • Experience handling organizations with 250+ employees.
    • Background in financial institutions preferred.
    • Experience in leading large-scale HR transformation projects is a strong advantage.
  • Age:

    • 40 years and above (no upper limit)
