# SALARY : KWD 250 (Avg. Rs. 265,000)
# ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review client project specifications, including quantity, size, materials, finishing options, and other relevant details.
- Analyze the project requirements and estimate the costs of labor, materials, equipment, and overhead expenses.
- Utilize industry knowledge and pricing databases to determine accurate cost estimates.
- Consider production methods, production time, waste factors, and other variables to calculate production costs.
- Prepare detailed and competitive price quotations based on the cost ese\timates.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand pricing strategies, customer budgets, and market conditions.
- Present cost breakdowns and pricing information to clients, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Liaise with clients, sales representatives, and production teams to gather project details and specifications.
- Work closely with the production team to determine the most cost-effective methods and materials for each project.
- Communicate effectively with sales representatives, and internal stakeholders regarding cost estimates and project requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate production costs throughout the project lifecycle, comparing actual costs to estimated costs.
- Identify and analyze cost variances, investigating reasons for deviations from estimates.
- Provide regular cost analysis reports to management, highlighting cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the sales and production teams to identify strategies for optimizing costs and improving profitability.
# REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a cost estimator, Must be in the offset printing industry.
- Strong knowledge of printing processes, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in using cost estimation software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet right deadlines.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
