Our client, who is a leading "State Bank", is looking for a strong, dynamic leader who can lead this transformation in Sri Lankan and overseas operations in the capacity of Chief Information Officer.

SALARY: Negotiable

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop the overall IT and digital strategy of the bank to support the overall business strategy and drive execution across the bank as a strong business partner.
• Set the IT Governance and Security Framework.
• Develop a strong team and structure in the IT and digital organizations of the bank with clear KPIs, lines of responsibility, accountability, and a line of command to deliver execution.
• Support the regulatory IT strategy and roadmap of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka to strengthen risk management, governance, AML, KYC, and other developments.
• Develop world-class technology and digital banking infrastructure to future-proof the entire bank from technology disruptions.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

• Age 55 or below.
• Preference will be given to those who have a postgraduate degree in computer science, ICT, engineering, or a relevant field from a recognized university approved by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka.
• Experience working in a local or global bank or financial institution in a similar capacity.
• Total work experience of 15 years or more, and ideally, should have demonstrated capacity to effect transformation and change.
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
• Adaptability and accountability with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Possess leadership attributes, strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

• Fixed-term contract for 03 years; performance will be reviewed annually.
• Market-based compensation is based on the experience and qualifications of the individual.
