Psychologist

Responsibilities:

·      Collecting information through observations, tests, surveys, interviews, and other methods

·      Finding patterns to better understand and predict human behaviour and conducting scientific studies to analyze brain function

·      Developing and carrying out treatment plans

·      Working with families, couples, and individuals to help them make desired changes to behaviours

·      Identifying and diagnosing emotional, behavioural, and mental disorders

·      Developing programs that improve schools and workplaces by addressing the psychological needs of their populations

Requirements:

·      PHD in psychology or a Doctor of Psychology degree

·      One-year internship for the doctoral program

·      Psy.D. clinical degree

·      3-5 years of experience in the field

·      Excellent research skills and a willingness to continually evolve
