One of our prestigious clients in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyors to join their team immediately.
SALARY: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects.
- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget and financial targets.
- Conduct site visits to verify quantities, quality, and work progress.
- Assist in contract management and procurement processes.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Prepare progress reports and cost analyses for management review.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of measurement standards, construction techniques, and cost management.
- Proficiency in relevant software (AutoCAD, MS Excel, CostX, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
