One of our prestigious clients is looking for experienced "Architects - Devops" to join them immediately.
SALARY: Negotiable
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be responsible for stability of mission critical deployments.
- Lead the team to attend to & provide workarounds/ fixes for issues in applications & system services within strict SLAs.
- Lead the team to troubleshoot/ investigate issues in application & system components.
- Review/ prepare RCA documents.
- Be present in war rooms during high priority issues to lead the team.
- Client interactions during issues, updates, upgrades.
- Be a role model for the technical side of the team.
- Lead the team technically & managerially.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field/ BSc equivalent qualification with 12+ years experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in application support.
- Experience in managing technical teams.
- Extensive experience in distributed systems is essential.
- Experience in tools used in troubleshooting Java, C++ services.
- Experience in performance troubleshooting of backend services, data bases, message brokers, load balancers, etc.
- Experience working with various devops tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Helm charts, etc. is required.
- Experience in various monitoring tools such as Prometheus.
- Well experienced in various data bases, Kubernetes, various load balancers, GCP.
- Extensive experience with Linux/Unix system administration.
- Sound knowledge of operating system concepts.
- Very good communication skill in Sinhala/English is essential.
