Our client, a leading "IT Services & Solutions" company is looking for an experienced "Principal Architect" to join their team in Colombo immediately.
SALARY: Negotiable
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Propose technical solutions and detailed designs for project requirements.
- Manage and coordinate architectural solutions between cross-project platforms.
- Conduct software architecture review sessions for project development activities.
- Identify technical risks and mitigate them accordingly.
- Implement and govern CI/CD mechanisms.
- Overlook and propose quality gate verification procedures to ensure smooth delivery.
- Resource recruitment, appraisals, training & mentoring activities.
- Stakeholder management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- BSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field or equivalent qualification with 18+ years of experience.
- At least 15+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
- Broad knowledge of different technologies, technical stacks, and persistence methodologies.
- Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure and its techniques.
- Strong Technical and Business stakeholder management.
- Good understanding of the following:
- Test automation and its procedures.
- Performance engineering and capacity planning.
- Non-functional requirements to provide cross-cutting solutions.
- Scrum and Agile practices.
- Ability to learn other coding languages and technologies as needed.
- Effective time-management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to directly communicate with clients and stakeholders as required.
- Team player, leader with the ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
