Our client, a leading "IT Services & Solutions" company is looking for an experienced "Senior Architect" to join their team in Colombo immediately.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and define the following:
- Strategies to meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Deployment architecture and hardware specification.
- Development standards and best practices.
- Correct use of architecture.
- Technology stack to be used.
- Evaluation, R&D, and POC new technologies.
- Strategies and manage integrations.
- Security risks mitigation.
- Creating and selecting software architecture with alternatives consideration and critically discussed trade-offs.
- Consult different teams (Development, SRE, QA) teams on technical matters.
- Make sure development teams adhere to the architecture.
- Strategically evaluate resiliency and performance test approaches.
- Lead Reviewing Effort estimations for pre-sales.
- Lead Architecture reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
- BSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field or equivalent qualification with 12+ years of experience.
- At least 7+ years of solid software development experience in Java / C++ / C# / Go
- At least 8 years of experience in designing and architecting fault-tolerant, high-performance, highly scalable distributed systems.
- Broad knowledge of different technologies and technical stacks.
- Broad knowledge and experience in cloud-related concepts, vendors, and their offerings.
- Understanding of performance engineering.
- Understanding of capacity planning.
- Strong Technical and Business stakeholder management.
- Good understanding of Scrum and Agile practices.
- Ability to learn other coding languages and technologies in a short time.
- Effective time-management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to directly communicate with clients and stakeholders as required.
- Team player, leader with the ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
