Our client is a leading "Software & Technology" company based in Australia is looking for experienced "Software Engineers" to join their team in Colombo immediately.
SALARY: Rs. 150,000
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience working as a Backend Engineer building and running distributed applications and services.
- C#, .NET, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL software development experience. (Full Stack)
- Ideally experienced in Java, JavaScript, Python and configuration.
- Experience developing RESTful Services and the ability to align API contracts with other teams.
- Experience having worked productively as part of an agile team.
- Clear understanding and experience of working in Agile Software development framework especially particularly TDD / BDD.
- Proficient understanding of Git and source code management tools such as Bitbucket or GitHub.
- Development testing knowledge - Unit testing using available frameworks such as NUnit.
Bonus: - Knowledge of AWS (specifically IAM, S3 and DynamoDB).
- Understanding of event-driven architecture.
- Exposure to automation and continuous delivery.
- Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Ability to provide technical system solutions, determine overall design direction and provide hardware recommendations for complex technical issues.
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize technical tasks and deliver within agreed timelines.
- Ability to grasp new technologies, concepts quickly and willingness to learn.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication in both spoken and written English.
