Our client is a multinational provider of "Construction Products & Systems" and is looking for an experienced "Supply Chain Manager" to work in their Colombo office immediately!

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for the full spectrum of Supply Chain Operations for Sri Lanka & South Asia Region, which includes all aspects of strategizing, implementing, managing, and monitoring activities related to Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, and Production.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and taking into consideration the growing complexities and challenges within the industry.
- Develop strategic plans to improve warehouse operations and maximize warehouse space utilization by designing and developing an efficient movement and storage system.
- Ensure that our products are manufactured safely, cost-effectively, and on time and that they meet the required quality standards by assisting subsidiaries in establishing an efficient and economic production process.
- Provide a definite direction and support to the company’s day-to-day operations by developing policies, procedures, guidelines, and process manuals and ensure compliance of the subsidiaries within the region.
- Manage supply chain software to ensure full control of the functionality, access security, information, and transactions running in the system.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Supply Chain Management or any equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in Supply Chain Operation.
- Proven experience in managing multiple operations in the South Asia region is an advantage.
- Sound Knowledge in Warehousing and Inventory Management Techniques and Systems.
- Excellent computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent skills in both spoken & written English, Sinhala/Tamil.
- Problem-solving attitude with an ability to multi-task.
- Professional appearance, self-confident, highly independent, assertive.
- Team player with profound leadership and interpersonal skills.
