One of our prestigious Clients' who is a leading "International Technology Platform Provider" is looking for a competent "Android Developer" to work in their Colombo office immediately.

# ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Full cycle end-to-end development from design through implementation
• Engage with stakeholders and developers to ensure business requirements and expected outcomes are compatible with the current architecture.
• Understand the requirements in order to design, develop, and test the solution.
• Maintain code integrity, documentation, version control, and organization.
• Innovate and apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to develop creative technological solutions.
• Develop clean, responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Collaborate with the team on release management, version control, and documentation.

# QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in native Android Development.
• Should have implemented at least 3 apps.

• Strong knowledge of Java.
• Hands-on experience with Android Studio and OO programming/design.
• Hands-on experience with at least one app analytics tool; Localytics, MixPanel, Flurry.
• Familiarity with Messaging APIs and Push notification services.
• Familiarity with source version control (SVN, GIT)

• Understanding of Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Working Experience in different screen sizes and Android versions.
• Working Experience in application security, performance tuning, and publishing.

• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
• Attention to detail in all aspects of the development process.
• Ability to understand and pick-up new technologies quickly.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, managing time effectively, and reporting progress regularly.
