One of our reputed clients, a popular restaurant chain in the Maldives, is currently seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to support their culinary operations and lead the kitchen team in delivering top-tier dining experiences across their multiple outlets.

SALARY: Negotiable (based on qualifications and experience)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff and ensure high standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, and ordering of supplies.
• Maintain food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards at all times.
• Contribute to menu planning and recipe development.
• Support cost control and minimize kitchen waste.
• Handle kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in a similar role (Sous Chef or equivalent).
• Prior experience in resort or high-end restaurant kitchens preferred.
• Culinary diploma or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of international cuisines and modern culinary techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a multicultural environment.
• Male candidates preferred.
