One of our clients in Maldives is looking for an experienced Organic Farmer to work in an island boutique farm in the Maldives.
Requirements:
- Methods for Rapid Organic Compost
- Planning of Farm land use
- Performance Reporting
- Good communication skills both spoken and written English
Main Responsibilities:
- Making of Compost from waste in the Island
- Plan and Prepare Farm land area (1 Hectare) for planting crops
- Use of organic methods of pest control
- Use of Hydroponic farming methods
- Guiding and overseeing the full process - from nursery to harvest of crops
- Reporting of growth performance and yield of crops
- Training of junior farmers in different areas of organic farming
- Provide consultancy in areas of improvement
- Basic communication skills
- Age between 25 to 45
