Role Description
This is a full-time role for Kitchen Stewards based in Kuwait. As a Kitchen Steward, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and supporting kitchen operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Must have a fundamental understanding of kitchen operations, including cleaning, dishwashing, and basic food preparation tasks.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene practices is essential to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Must be familiar with health regulations and standards.
- The role requires physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must pay close attention to details to ensure all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized properly.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, cooperating with chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff.
- Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and within the required time frames.
- Good verbal communication skills to understand instructions and convey information clearly.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and late shifts, as required by the kitchen operations.
- Understanding of and adherence to safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries in the kitchen.
