One of our prestigious clients in Kuwait is looking for experienced Maintenance Mechanical Engineers (Pumps & Rotating Equipment) to join their team immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and performance monitoring of pumps and rotating mechanical equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

SALARY: KWD 200

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of pumps and rotating equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain centrifugal, booster, transfer, and freshwater pumps.
• Diagnose mechanical faults in pumps, motors, bearings, seals, couplings, and related components.
• Supervise or carry out pump dismantling, inspection, repair, assembly, and installation.
• Check and maintain mechanical seals, bearings, shafts, impellers, couplings, and wear components.
• Perform accurate pump and motor alignment using appropriate alignment methods and tools.
• Monitor vibration, temperature, pressure, flow, and other operating parameters.
• Conduct performance testing and commissioning after repair or maintenance activities.
• Identify abnormal equipment conditions and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Carry out inspections to identify wear, leakage, vibration, overheating, and other mechanical issues.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and equipment history.
• Coordinate with electrical and maintenance teams for equipment-related work.
• Ensure availability and proper use of tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials.
• Follow all company safety procedures and mechanical maintenance standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant mechanical qualification.
• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably involving pumps and rotating equipment.
• Strong knowledge of centrifugal pumps, booster pumps, transfer pumps, and water pumping systems.
• Good understanding of rotating equipment components including bearings, seals, shafts, impellers, and couplings.
• Knowledge of pump alignment, vibration monitoring, pressure testing, and performance testing.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and perform effective troubleshooting.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Good understanding of mechanical safety procedures and safe working practices.
