One of our prestigious clients is looking for an experienced Junior Accountant to join their team immediately.
SALARY: Negotiable
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting documents.
- Prepare journal entries, invoices, and payment vouchers.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Maintain petty cash records and expense reports.
- Support payroll processing and statutory payments where required.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and financial regulations.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Part qualification in AAT, CA, ACCA, CIMA, or CMA will be an added advantage.
- Previous experience in accounting or finance will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with accounting software will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
