One of our prestigious clients is looking for hardworking and physically fit Driller Assistants to join their team. Candidates should be capable of supporting drilling operations in a mining environment, assisting drillers with equipment handling, sample collection, and maintaining safe and efficient drilling activities.

POSITION: Driller Assistants

SALARY: 4000 SAR

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist drillers with daily drilling operations and ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently.
• Help prepare, set up, and dismantle drilling equipment and associated tools.
• Handle drilling rods, drill bits, hoses, and other drilling materials as instructed.
• Assist with the collection, labelling, handling, and storage of drilling samples.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization around the drilling rig and worksite.
• Support routine inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance of drilling equipment.
• Monitor drilling equipment and report faults, damage, or unusual operating conditions to the driller or supervisor.
• Follow instructions from drilling supervisors and experienced drilling personnel.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are handled and stored correctly.
• Follow all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Assist with loading and unloading drilling materials and supplies.
• Maintain good housekeeping at the drilling site and help keep work areas free from hazards.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses immediately.
• Support the drilling team in meeting daily operational targets.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in drilling, mining, construction, or a similar physically demanding role is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn drilling procedures, equipment handling, and site safety requirements.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in outdoor and remote mining environments.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
• Willingness to work shifts and in challenging weather and site conditions.
• Good communication skills and a responsible approach to assigned duties.
• Ability to assist with lifting, carrying, and handling drilling tools and materials safely.
• Previous exposure to RC drilling operations is an advantage.
• Relevant technical training or safety certifications are an advantage.
