One of our prestigious clients in Maldives is looking for experienced DCDP / Commis I candidates to join their team immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing Mediterranean cuisine, assisting with daily kitchen operations, maintaining food quality and hygiene standards, and preparing shawarma as part of the kitchen menu. Shawarma preparation experience is mandatory.

SALARY: USD 500 – 600 per month

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and cook Mediterranean dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Prepare shawarma and related dishes; practical shawarma preparation experience is mandatory.
• Assist the Chef de Partie and senior kitchen staff with daily food preparation.
• Ensure consistency in food taste, presentation and portion sizes.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces, marinades and other items required for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Follow food safety procedures and proper food storage practices.
• Monitor ingredient freshness and minimize food wastage.
• Ensure kitchen equipment and utensils are used and maintained properly.
• Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.
• Coordinate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely food preparation.
• Follow company policies and food safety regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3–5 years of experience in Mediterranean cuisine.
• Previous experience as a DCDP, Commis I or in a similar kitchen position.
• Mandatory practical experience in shawarma preparation.
• Good knowledge of Mediterranean dishes, ingredients and cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
