One of our prestigious clients who is a leading "Software Engineering" company is looking for “Tech Leads – AI Data Science" to join their team in Colombo immediately.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Design and develop and maintain enterprise-level end-to-end AI and data science platforms and systems.
•  Executing the data-driven planning process by building models and frameworks that connect business strategies and predictive analysis.
•  Define and implement evaluation strategies for each required functionality, demonstrate applicability and performance of the delivered application and communicate clearly on its limits.
•  Generate and implement data science use-cases to meet specific end-user needs through proactive engagement.
•  Apply Machine Learning/ Deep Learning to solve complex business problems.
•  Define and execute the data governance processes, tools and platforms.
•  Collaborate with other data analysts to provide development coverage, support and Knowledge sharing and mentoring of junior team members.
•  Develop and deliver the solution in compliance with the corporate SDLC.
•  Proactively explores new AI and ML techniques and tools to identify new opportunities for the team and business.
•  Lead the Data Science team and the technical execution related to the data analytics jobs.
•  Being responsible for the decisions, strategies, mission and the execution of the data science domain within the bank.
•  Govern data architecture of the bank and provide updates to the management.
•  Being a team player who presents plans, ideas and deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

•  A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related Engineering Field/ Computer Science/ IT with strong mathematical knowledge.
•  Five (05) years of practical experience related to Data Science or data-driven projects.
•  Having a Master degree in data science will be an added advantage.
•  A solid Understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning Models is a must.
•  Proficient in python language with strong capabilities in data manipulation and model building.
•  Knowledge and experience in developing end-to-end data science workflow.
•  Experience in working with Hadoop, Spark, pySpark, Sqoop, Redhat Linux and Tableau.
•  Knowledge in process automation via Apache Airflow.
•  Experience working with Data Warehouse and ETL will be added advantage.
