One of our prestigious Clients' in the UK is looking for experienced "Network Engineers" to join their team in Colombo immediately.

# SALARY : LKR. 300,000

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receives and responds to internal incident escalation, to provide consultation on next steps or further assistance to the user.
• Receives and responds to inbound alarms and incidents from Clients, monitoring systems, and Internal & External users.
• Performs routine tasks to triage and remediate alarms on system or service outages.
• Provides regular and timely updates to all parties (internal and external) on incident statuses.
• Maintains detailed documentation, notes, and steps pending or completed on all support tickets.
• Reforms triaging and troubleshooting of incident volume to resolve incidents.
• Assists in creating materials for end-user frequently asked questions (FAQs) and procedural knowledgebase articles.
• Aids all Systems staff with problem research and documentation.
• Provides assistance and spot training for Technician and Engineer 1 team as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

• Extensive experience working as a Network Engineer is a must.
• Expert with Cisco, Fortinet, HP, Dell, and Juniper branded network devices.
• Outstanding communication at all organizational levels, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to document critical information and processes effectively.
• Familiar with standard concepts and practices, while following defined processes and procedures within a support environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.)
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a highly dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
• Excellent customer service skills.
