Our client in Australia who is a growing "Technology Solutions" company is looking for an experienced "Associate Tech Lead - Managed Services" to join their team in Colombo immediately.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


The Associate Tech Lead - Managed Services works closely with Software Engineers to help them deploy and operate different systems as well as providing support for client applications in production. In addition, they help to automate and streamline the company operations and processes.

  • Troubleshooting and triaging client support issues in a timely manner inline within agreed SLAs.
  • Providing accurate and timely updates to clients on issue progress and status and keeping internal teams up to date.
  • Providing inputs for client reporting.
  • Liaising and working closely with the Client Partnership team to ensure that the support function is running smoothly.
  • Maintaining up to date documentation of client deployments.
  • Knowledge and skill development in new technologies and related tools to introduce to the company in order for growth in an agile development environment.
  • Writing automation scripts as required.
  • Providing direct server support on various operations.

* Note that the role includes shift work to meet client requirements overseas. The successful applicant will be required to work rotating shifts.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:


  • Degree in quantitative discipline such as IT or Computer Science.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a similar role in DevOps / Support / Platform Engineering.
  • Great knowledge of Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc).
  • Solid knowledge in Linux and underlying infrastructure concepts.
  • Experience working with the WSO2 Platform will be highly regarded.
  • Good experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Knowledge in databases such as MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
  • Knowledge in Monitoring systems such as EFK, Cloud Watch.
  • Knowledgeable of Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git, etc.
  • Familiar with configuration management tools, for example, Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
  • Programming experience (Bash, Python, Java, etc) would be ideal.
  • Effective time-management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to directly communicate with clients overseas as required.
  • Team player, leader with the ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
