One of our prestigious Clients' who is into "International Healthcare" is looking for a competent "Center Manager" to work in their Colombo office immediately.


# SALARY: Rs. 100,000 - 150,000

# ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


Manage smooth functioning of the Healthcare Center, in line with the company image and meeting the goals and targets as set by the management. He/she is the key person responsible for creating a brand identity for the company in the region.

He/she owns the P&L for all the centers in his/her country and needs to keep a close eye on the budgets and expenses in the center.


The Center Manager is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Complete ownership of the P&L for the assigned country.
  • Overall responsibility of business unit operations.
  • Initiate and monitor performance by way of internal audits; so as to improve the existing processes.
  • Innovating new systems for optimum Center functions.
  • Responsible for developing team skills and productivity.
  • Responsible for setting up new business units in the country as per the agreed expansion plan and within budgets.
  • Ensuring standards for Quality, Customer Service and Health & Safety are maintained.
  • To oversee evaluation and management of clinical practices within the Centers.
  • Abide by policies, procedures and laws to ensure that the best interests of the organization are kept in mind while providing quality health care.
  • Participate in administrative decision-making and the development of policies and procedures related to patient care of the region entrusted.
  • To help Develop, Approve, and Implement specific clinical practices for the facilities across to incorporate into its care-related policies and procedures, including areas required by laws and regulations.
  • Review, consider and/or act upon Administrator and consultants recommendations, as appropriate, that affect the facility's medical care policies and procedures.
  • Respond to and participate in federal, state, local and other external surveys and inspections relating to clinical and medical care.
  • Help review policies and procedures regarding the adequate protection of patients' rights, advance care planning, and other ethical issues pertaining to the set up.
  • Establish systems and methods for reviewing the quality and appropriateness of clinical care and other health-related services and provide appropriate feedback.
  • Counsel and instruct customers and family members either directly or with the help of a referral, whichever is more suited to the requirement at that point of time.
  • To intervene and diffuse any situation that involves agitated, confused, scared or emotional customers and family members. To be patient with them and reassure them that the treatment being offered is the best available treatment.

# QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES


  • Post Graduate Degree in any relevant field from an accredited university.
  • 5 years' experience post completion of PG (or equivalent. American Board)
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, guiding medical staff.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

  • Good communication skills in English and local languages.
  • Able to confidently communicate with all clinical staff members, consultants, personnel and patients.
  • Effective interpersonal communication is of utmost importance and it is a mandatory requirement.
  • Good listener, patient, compassionate and conscientious.
  • Good team leader with a smart & pleasant personality.
  • Strong decision-maker able to resolve problems quickly.
  • Time Management and Negotiation skills.
