One of our prestigious clients is looking for “Business Development Managers (Heating & Cooling)" to join their Colombo team immediately.


SALARY: Negotiable 


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Identify potential customers and leverage market knowledge and expertise to increase the sales of Steam Boilers, Thermic Fluid Heaters, and other Heating Equipment.
  • Prepare techno-commercial offers and reports.
  • Manage negotiations of sales contracts and order closures.
  • Provide design parameters for customized products and strategize the sales of newly launched products by liaising with principals.
  • Liaise with associates to develop sales strategies, derive annual business plans, driving market share in all product lines.
  • Execute internal and external business strategies to optimize customer relationships.
  • Manage monthly information sheets (MIS) and year-end close processes with associates and within the business development division.
  • Work with business intelligence and marketing to improve the business of assigned verticals.
  • Organize customer meet forums to present new products and engineering solutions to overcome manufacturing challenges.
  • Recruit sales team, set objectives, define roles and responsibilities, monitor performance, conduct performance review, ensuring their KPI objectives are achieved.
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:


  • 5 years of experience in the field of Capital Equipment Sales such as boilers, chillers, compressors, DG Sites etc in Sri Lanka & Maldives.
  • Degree in Thermodynamics, Mechanical Engineering, and Environmental Engineering from a reputed university in Sri Lanka / Overseas is preferred.
  • Excellent rapport with industries.
  • Posses skilled in enquiry generation, order closure, strategic business plans across BOI/ NON BOI & conversion.
  • Market intelligence to understand competition strategies.
  • To command & communicate in the local language.
  • Good communications skills, negotiations, presentations, fast learner.
  • Should have a flair to visit customers island wide.
