One of our prestigious Clients' who is a leading multinational "Software Development" company is looking for an experienced "Group Information Manager" to work in their Colombo office immediately.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees IT operations.
- Leads team of infrastructure staff.
- Designs and implements IT strategies and infrastructure.
- Identifies and eliminates security risks.
- Maintain network security by regularly monitoring all access points and providing vulnerability reports to management.
- Audit access throughout systems/applications and ensure access is at appropriate levels.
- Collaborate with team engineers and architects to ensure the security of new projects.
- Analyzes business requirements for infrastructure needs and systems.
- Works to increase customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate IT operations with regard to established goals.
- Communicates within the infrastructure team and across departments as needed.
- Assesses need for new equipment and software.
- Prepares progress and budget reports for upper management.
- Hires new members of infrastructure staff.
- Builds and maintains relationships with outside vendors.
- Manages company help desk.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. (Graduate degree a plus)
- Certifications and continuing education preferred.
- Any security certifications would be a definite advantage during the selection process.
- Minimum 8 years of experience working in IT operations. (Managing SaaS solutions is a plus)
- Minimum 5 years of experience overseeing IT teams and projects.
- Sound understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases, and storage systems.
- Solid working knowledge of all relevant coding languages and security protocols.
- Ambitious, energetic, target-driven, initiative-taker, and highly motivated.
- Ability to work cross-functionally.
- Effective people manager, communicator, and team-oriented individual.
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate and develop talent.
- Strong negotiation skills and project management experience.
