Our client is a leading multinational "HR Solutions & Process Outsourcing" company and is looking for an accomplished "Country Manager" to develop their business presence in Sri Lanka.


SALARY: Rs. 420,000 - 470,000


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


The Country Manager is responsible to develop Company business in Sri Lanka, revenue growth, and ensuring profitability.

You will also be responsible for Role Overview managing overall operations, recruiting staff, creating budgets, helping in understanding the region, and thereby developing products/services for the local market.

  • Drive high-performance culture among front line staff deployed - Telesales, Managing the Customer Service and Field Operations team.
  • Manage every aspect of our newly expanding operation in-country.
  • Meeting business goals for the region.
  • Negotiate with vendors and service providers.
  • Reviewing the performance of the team, driving key metrics like - Sales Volume, Revenue / Individual, Employee Churn, Call Quality, and other input parameters in sales & service-driven business skill and competencies.
  • Synthesize monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress and development.
  • Responsible for optimal capacitation of the center and working with HR to recruit the very best talent in this new market.
  • Collaborate with the corporate leadership team to strategize how best to roll out the product line.
  • Ensures adherence to organization policies by self and team.
  • Actively participate / contribute to continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure a good work environment and infrastructure is provided to associates - in line with local statutory requirements and industry standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:


  • Age between 35 - 45
  • Graduate in any specialization with MBA preferably from a reputed institute.
  • 10 -  12 years of experience in B2B & B2C Sales and Operations Management of which a minimum of 4 - 6 years experience in a Managerial Capacity is required.
  • Extensive experience in Telesales, preferably in Banking, Insurance, Telecom, E-Commerce, Consumer Internet, and Hospitality industries.

  • Good experience in growing and scaling a start-up environment.
  • Good understanding of local laws. (People, Organisation, Compliance)
  • Good understanding of the digital landscape, and enjoys building and nurturing a team from the ground up.
  • Strong affinity for business development and sales.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent command in both spoken & written English and Sinhala.
  • Strong leadership skills with prior experience managing a team.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Very well-developed negotiations skills.

  • Ability to self-motivate and influence a multicultural team.
