One of our prestigious Clients' who is a leading UK-based Offshore Service Provider is looking for a competent "Operations Executive" to work in their Colombo office immediately.
SALARY: Rs. 30,000 - 45,000
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate with the higher management to prepare a strategy for operations to run efficiently.
- Assist in developing short and long-term plans to achieve the goals and objectives which are already set.
- Managing the company's commercial operations and various expenses and budgets.
- Monitor the condition of the facility and keep a check on the environmental performance and give suggestions or request approval of funds or plans for spending.
- Monitor the performance metrics and should receive and respond to approvals and notifications on a regular basis.
- Provide suggestions to the management on changes that can be done to improve productivity and work environment for all employees.
- Keep a check on the performance of the operations of both internal service providers and external service providers.
- Speak on the phone with UK customers and with our UK warehouse to help solve problems.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Degree in Business Administration, Operation Management, or relevant field.
- 1-2 years of experience as an Administrative or Operation Assistant.
- Experience in Data Entry is preferred.
- Basic IT skills are a must. (Email, Internet, MS-Office, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of using formulae in Excel and filters.
- Basic knowledge of SEO. (Mainly be able to research and obtain rich information for products.)
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Ability to learn new software with basic training.
- Ability to do basic problem-solving.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a high-pressure environment.
- Be committed to 'Exceptional' customer service at all times.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
- Team player with a pleasing personality.
