One of our prestigious clients in the Maldives, a leading restaurant and resort group, is looking for enthusiastic and committed Commis (Bakery) staff to assist in producing top-quality bakery items in a professional kitchen environment.
SALARY: Negotiable (based on experience and qualifications)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the preparation of bread, pastries, and baked goods as per recipe standards.
- Ensure proper measuring, mixing, and baking of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery section.
- Assist senior bakers and chefs with daily production tasks.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Help monitor inventory levels and report shortages.
- Work cooperatively in a team and maintain a positive kitchen environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a bakery or hotel kitchen.
- Formal training in Bakery, Culinary Arts, or Hotel Management preferred.
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and equipment.
- Passion for baking and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work flexible hours and in a high-pressure kitchen.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
