POSITION : Staff Nurse - Colombo, Sri Lanka

Our reputed client who is a multinational healthcare company provides medical services to private, public and government organizations in many countries. They are currently setting up their Sri Lankan center and with integrated medical test solution as part of the visa application processing and bio metric enrollment regime.
Primary Responsibility:
He/She will be responsible for blood sample collection in the visa medical center. She/he
will also act as the staff nurse and manage the administrative as well as clinical duties involved in the center.
Role Specifics:
- Phlebotomy
- Administer vaccines in certain cases
- Administration of medication as prescribed by the doctor
- Check and verify the records to ensure validity of supporting documents and identity of the customer and record relevant information in the internal system/software
- Data Entry of medical records
- General nursing care
- Check vital signs, monitor blood pressure, temperature and pulse
- Manage patients/customers with care

Qualifications, Experience and Education Requirements:
- Diploma Nursing with minimum 1 year of experience
- Registered with the local regulatory body in the country
- Computer literature

- Administrative skills.
- Self-motivated and keen to update his/her scientific base according to the latest publications in the field of interest.
- Accurate, honest, has high level of humanity, and presentable.
- Self-hygienic, courteous, and meticulous
- Quality control minded.
- To maintain a high standard of nursing care.
- To complete assigned duties efficiently.
- To demonstrate a working knowledge of maintenance of all equipment safely.
