Our client is a UK based EPOS Software Development Company and is currently seeking an experienced, dynamic and highly-skilled Senior Developer cum Product Manager with a track record of delivering software solutions to end users.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of technical solution roadmap of their EPOS software, architect software solutions, ensure delivery of product timelines. You will be responsible for identifying software requirements, create and maintain the product roadmap and ensure product delivery and maintenance of associated project plans.  Initially, this is a hands-on developer role, with a view to building a team of developers on a broad spectrum of platforms, Android, .net ASP.net  SQL.
 
The successful candidate will have minimum of 5 years Product Management experience along with expertise in DevOps and project management. You will have a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle so a solid technical background with an understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies is essential. 
 
What type of person are we looking for? 

• Proven experience as a Product Manager with expertise in DevOps, project management.
• Knowledge of .net object-oriented programs, Android, SQL, web application development, security and open source technologies is a must. 
• Ability to translate user requirements into a technical product, i.e. playing a key role linking the customers and business to the product development.
• Confident presenter, able to articulate the product vision to customers, prospects, and other stakeholders.
• Background in system development, software architecture, API and platform integrations.
• Development skills in architecting software solutions and commercial experience in coding with C++. Knowledge in Java is a plus Experience with cloud infrastructures.

 
What will you be doing?
 
The Product Manager is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the product roadmap, ensuring that their products and brands continue to expand and lead the market. You will also ensure product delivery, via project management activities and project plans, ensuring that products are delivered to time, cost and quality objectives. 

You will make a solid contribution by technically leading the software development and contribute to the implementation of complex software systems through all stages of the development process. 

Your role will involve day to day involvement in product DevOps while continually identifying technical solutions to improve customer experience. You will help determine which technologies to use. This will involve working closely with their managing director in the UK, third-party software developers or in-house team to create required technological frameworks and architecture to ensure their effective implementation. You will be responsible for the web application development, product roadmap including solutions design, delivery, and testing through the full development lifecycle. Working with stakeholders, you will act as the subject matter expert to ensure you deliver value and process improvements to their products, as well as helping to drive best practice and industry standards.
