One of our reputed clients is looking for motivated and technically capable L1 Helpdesk / System Administrators to support day-to-day IT operations and provide first-level technical assistance. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational IT knowledge who are eager to grow in system administration and infrastructure support.
SALARY: LKR 70,000 – 90,000
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide Level 1 technical support for end-user issues via phone, email, or remote tools.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Support Windows operating systems and desktop environments.
- Assist with user account management (password resets, access requests, etc.).
- Monitor and respond to helpdesk tickets within defined SLAs.
- Escalate complex technical issues to Level 2 support teams when required.
- Assist in system maintenance, updates, and patching activities.
- Support basic Microsoft 365 administration tasks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions.
- Ensure excellent customer service and communication with end users.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 – 2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration roles.
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (O365) is an advantage.
- Understanding of Active Directory basics (user accounts, permissions).
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow in IT infrastructure roles.
