One of our prestigious clients in the Aviation and Cargo Handling industry is seeking experienced and dedicated Senior Cargo Officers to join their dynamic team in Colombo immediately.
SALARY: LKR 70,000
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily cargo operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulations.
- Supervise cargo loading, unloading, and storage processes.
- Handle cargo documentation, manifests, and customs clearance.
- Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to safety and security protocols.
- Manage and train junior cargo staff for smooth operational flow.
- Maintain detailed cargo movement records and performance reports.
- Resolve cargo-related issues promptly and professionally.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or higher qualification in Logistics, Aviation, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in cargo handling or aviation logistics.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and cargo management software.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
