One of our prestigious clients, a leading organization in Colombo, is seeking a highly skilled "Accounting Supervisors" to join their finance team immediately.
# SALARY: Negotiable
# REPORTING TO: Finance Controller (India)
# KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide financial insights, projections, and reliable data analysis to support decision-making.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial reports and assist in creating strategic presentations.
- Deliver FP&A support to accounting teams (productivity, demand planning, reporting).
- Identify business challenges and propose actionable solutions.
- Partner with finance teams and central FP&A groups on metrics, goals, and business reviews.
- Manage full set of accounts, taxation, auditing, and company secretarial matters in compliance with local statutes.
- Ensure timely reporting to Group via consolidation tools and resolve HQ queries.
- Lead internal controls, process improvements, and working capital management (budgeting, forecasting).
- Liaise with internal teams (Regional Finance) and external stakeholders (auditors, tax authorities).
- Support HR calculations and ad hoc duties as assigned by Management.
# REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with financial reporting tools.
- Strong knowledge of accounting/financial principles and statutory compliance.
- Exceptional communication skills in English and local language.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
