One of our prestigious Clients' who is a leading Multinational IT company based in Colombo is looking for creative and dedicated "Content Writers" to join their team immediately.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your role as a Content Writer would be to create content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website. You should also be able to follow editorial guidelines when creating content, have research skills on various topics and industry trends, and produce content on set deadlines. Excellent grammar and writing skills are essential for this position.
- Create engaging and informative blog articles.
- Independently carry out the weekly blog process.
- Brainstorm with the team for new ideas and strategies for effective content.
- Research markets and industries to create innovative and original content.
- Develop content on a variety of topics for multiple platforms (such as the website, blogs, articles, and social media).
- Create eye-catching and innovative headlines and body text.
- Proofread and copyedit marketing content.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of working experience in a similar role.
- Proven content writing or copywriting experience.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent grammar and writing skills in English.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge in hospitality or software will be an added advantage.
- Ability to independently carry out content-related processes.
- Good attention to detail with a researching and problem-solving mindset.
- Good time-management and organizational skills with an ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
