Our client is a renown materials manufacturer for industries such as fashion, interior design, and vehicle upholstery products, and is looking for an experienced "Accounts Executive" to work in their Colombo office immediately.
SALARY: Negotiable
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation of Banking Reconciliation and other Banking-related work.
- Executing Transactions related to Financial Accounting.
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet schedules.
- Assurance of on-time supplier payments.
- Support for reconciliations and resolutions for open items.
- Supports external and internal Audit activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Full qualification in AAT or part qualifications in CA/CIMA/ACCA and/or degree in Accountancy from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- 2+ years of working experience in the retail industry would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
- Excellent computer literacy including the ability to work with accounting packages.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Ability to follow confidentiality guidelines.
- Analytical and logical thinker with a problem-solving attitude.
- Time management and organizational skills, including the ability to efficiently multitask when necessary.
- Team player with a pleasing personality.
