One of our prestigious Clients' who is a leading Multinational IT company based in Colombo is looking for skilled "QA Engineers" to join their team immediately.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyse and clarify requirements with the BA team.
- Plan and conduct the process of functional testing.
- Identify problem areas, add to the tracking system and track the life cycle of errors.
- Discuss fixes with developers and re-test fixed defects.
- Participate in the requirement analysis and specifications for the software being developed.
- Create, test, and add information to the appropriate testing tool.
- Perform testing at all levels and share updates with stakeholders.
- Maintain the test documentation.
- Work closely with QA Lead to clarify/understand functionality, resolve issues.
- Be involved in helping other QA team members with their User Stories and Bugs.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports for the management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MCA.
- Minimum 3+ years of work experience in Functional and Manual testing, API testing is a must.
- Proven work experience in software development.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent knowledge of "Manual" testing and its aspects.
- Hands-on experience with functional testing / black-box testing.
- Hands-on experience writing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans as well as test data generation.
- Good knowledge of databases.
- Effective time-management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
